Experience a Gastronomic Ode to Italian Mastery at SJM
The MICHELIN Star Table returns to SJM Resorts this October, bringing with it an all-new and vibrant gastronomic celebration. For two days only, Chef Federico Pucci from MICHELIN Selected restaurant Don Alfonso 1890 and Chef Andrea Migliaccio from two MICHELIN Starred restaurant L'Olivo will join hands to present a feast honouring the renowned cuisine of Southern Italy, accompanied by Special Guest Chef Ernesto Iaccarino from the original Don Alfonso 1890 in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi.
As the MICHELIN Guide's official partner in Hong Kong and Macau, SJM presents exceptional collaborations between acclaimed local and international chefs, offering extraordinary culinary odysseys for food-lovers everywhere. For MICHELIN Star Table 2024, the chefs will prepare an exclusive five-course lunch and six-course dinner menu featuring traditional treasures from the Sorrento Peninsula and transporting diners' palates to the splendour of Campania with reimagined primi bursting with regional flavours.
Through gourmet events such as this, SJM is committed to enriching Macau's culinary scene by curating elaborate, unprecedented experiences framed by innovation and excellence. In addition to enhancing Macau's status as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, this event will promote the integration of "tourism + gastronomy" for local development. About the Chefs
Ernesto Iaccarino and Federico Pucci
At MICHELIN Selected restaurant Don Alfonso 1890, Head Chef Federico Pucci calls upon his extensive expertise and skills to showcase the millenary culture and food traditions of the Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi Coast. In addition to classic dishes from the original Don Alfonso 1890, he has created numerous dishes in collaboration with Chef Ernesto Iaccarino that elevate the dining experience in Macau to new heights.
Andrea Migliaccio
Executive Chef Andrea Migliaccio is an expert at preparing masterful Italian cuisine with a particular focus on Campania. At two MICHELIN Starred restaurant L'Olivo, he creates primi that explode with flavour, featuring the fresh ingredients of the season and the best tastes of the Mediterranean. In addition to traditional recipes with authentic Italian flavours, he is also renowned for modern reinterpretations that offer true pleasure for the palate.
